Phase portrait of the oscillator

Abstract

The paper deals with the phase portrait of the oscillator and its representation in the form of an attractor. Three cases are described in more detail: 1. Undamped, damped and forced oscillations of the spring oscillator, 2. simple pendulum with extremely large amplitudes, 3. elastic pendulum. The paper includes computer models created by MS Excel, which allow studying oscillations of the oscillators at various oscillator parameters and initial conditions.
